How do you usually feel after you do yoga?
After practicing yoga, my internal feeling always varies- it depends on what my practice has churned up that day. But I never regret practicing- I always feel better than I did before I got on my mat. Always.
What do you tell yourself to motivate yourself to work out even if you're tired?
I say "Remember that moment when you told yourself, 'I ALWAYS FEEL BETTER AFTER I PRACTICE YOGA?' Yeah, get your ass up and practice. You don't know it right now because you're feeling lazy, but you'll feel better in an hour."
What's your best advice to aspiring athletes?
Do it for the feeling of the wind in your hair and the delicious soreness of bodily exhaustion because it makes your heart sing. Practice because it makes you feel good.
